Upper School Latin (Long-Term Substitute)

 

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain is seeking a qualified, full-time Upper School Latin teacher for the spring semester of the 2021-2022 school year. While this is a full-time substitute position for this school year, a long-term full-time position in our Latin program would be a consideration for school year 2022-2023. The ideal candidate would possess expertise and experience teaching first and second year Latin.

Prospective teachers should demonstrate passion for their subject area and a desire to see, know, and pursue their students for Jesus Christ. Agreement with our statement of faith, in addition to membership in a local church, is a requirement. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, in addition to three years or more of teaching experience, is preferred.

Upper School Rhetoric Teacher

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain is seeking a qualified, full-time Upper School Rhetoric teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The ideal candidate would possess expertise and experience teaching writing and presentation skills using a distinctly classical approach. 

Prospective teachers should demonstrate passion for their subject area and a desire to see, know, and pursue their students for Jesus Christ. Agreement with our statement of faith, in addition to membership in a local church, is a requirement. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, in addition to three years or more of teaching experience, is preferred.
